KnightLeap is owned and operated by Knight Digital Partners Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“Knight Digital Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which is the data controller responsible for your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use the KnightLeap website and application at knightleap.com (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, organization name, and password (stored hashed).
- Content you create — projects, sprints, stories, tasks, objectives, key results, routines, and related notes.
- Billing information — handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive limited details such as your subscription status and customer identifier; we do not store your full card number.
- Usage and technical data — log data such as IP address, browser type, and the actions you take, used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- process subscriptions and payments;
- send service-related and transactional messages (for example, trial, billing, and account emails);
- provide optional AI features when you choose to use them; and
- protect the security and integrity of the Service.
3. Third-party processors
We share personal data with service providers only as needed to run the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) — only when you use the AI features. The relevant prompt and story or planning data are sent to the provider to generate a response. If you bring your own provider key, those requests run under your account with that provider.
- Hosting and email — infrastructure and transactional-email providers used to deliver the Service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your language choice. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and Content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or specific Content, we delete or anonymize the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, accounting, or security obligations.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise many of these directly in the app, or by contacting us at the address below.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address issues promptly.
8. International transfers
Knight Digital Partners is based in Hong Kong, and we and our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
