The five steps
Add your AI key. KnightLeap's AI features run on your own provider key (Anthropic,
OpenAI, or Google) — your account, your model, your cost. Grab a key and paste it into
Settings → AI. Full walkthrough:
Setting up your AI key.
~2 min
Run the setup wizard. On first sign-in, describe what you manage in plain language —
the AI drafts your portfolios & projects, optional quarterly OKRs,
and a starter backlog. Confirm or edit each step. Walkthrough:
The setup wizard, step by step.
~3 min
Plan your week. Set the hours you can realistically give each project, pick up to
three goals per project, then compose the sprint (the AI fills it from your backlog
to fit your capacity) and start it. You'll do this every Monday. Details:
How weekly sprints work.
~3 min
(Optional) Connect your coding agent. Point Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Gemini CLI
at KnightLeap's MCP server and your agent updates the board while it builds — picks up stories, ships,
and keeps statuses current. Setup:
Connect your coding agent.
Work the day. Live out of Today and the Calendar —
they show what's doable now against your honest capacity. On Friday, run the review; it rolls up into
your OKRs and teees up next week.
That's it. Plan Monday, execute the week with your agent, review Friday — one shared
sprint per project, rolling up into quarterly objectives. New to the framework? Start with
